Today was the second walk, of a series of walks intended to start at the trail head and eventually lead to where the Muddy Branch meets to Potomac. Today we took a short side trip to see where the contaminated portion meets the Muddy Branch mainstem. If/when you all get down to the section below River Road, please post photos of its condition in light of the sewer-line replacement work being done by DC Water. The Nature Forward monitoring team would like to know if we can access our sampling site in July!
