Jyoti joins the board as a globally recognized expert with over 20 years of experience in green, resilient infrastructure finance and public-private partnerships across developing countries. She has held senior roles at the World Bank Group and the United Nations, where she supported governments in building robust public investment pipelines, structuring bankable public-private partnership projects, and mobilizing finance for climate-resilient infrastructure. Her commitment to sustainability and community engagement was recognized with the Environmental Stewardship Award from the City of Rockville in 2024, honoring her leadership in promoting environmentally responsible practices. That same year, Jyoti was named Coach of the Year by the Montgomery County Road Runners Club, reflecting her dedication to health, wellness, and community spirit through athletics.
Jyoti has been instrumental in shaping global standards for private investment in infrastructure. She also leads global networks, advisory boards, and international panels on climate resilience, infrastructure evaluation, and sustainability.  A prolific thought leader, Jyoti has published extensively on leveraging private sector finance to deliver resilient, green, and inclusive infrastructure. She holds an Executive Diploma from Harvard University, an MBA from George Washington University, and an Honors Degree in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi.

Jennifer has been an active Weed Warrior with Montgomery County and has helped organize invasive plant removal projects in the City of Rockville as a volunteer. She loves including native plants in her yard and has helped broaden awareness and appreciation for native plant landscaping in the Watts Branch Watershed.

Ray joins us as a board member with many years of experience in natural resource science and conservation, and holds B.A., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in biology and ecology. Ray served as scientist, park and resource manager, and associate director for the U.S. National Park Service for 32 years. He has held faculty positions in ecology and environmental science and participated in numerous international conservation initiatives. He and his family enjoy frequent walks along Watts Branch trails, observing birds and other wildlife, and experiencing the amazing natural wonders of the area. Ray is excited to share his enthusiasm to explore, discover, and care for the diverse ecosystems that make up the Watts Branch Watershed. Project interests include FrogWatch, public outreach, ecosystem monitoring, and stream clean-ups.

Annita is one of the founding board members of the Watts Branch Watershed Alliance and has led water sampling along Watts Branch Creek. She is an active supporter of water quality initiatives around Montgomery County and beyond, participating in various clean-up efforts as well as Weed Warrior events. She has a deep commitment to protecting the health of not just the watershed, but the planet in general. Annita holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland as a water and soils scientist and a Master’s in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability from the Blekinge Institute of Technology in Sweden.

Tyndall joins us as a board member with significant experience in organizational development. She is also a tireless gardener and loves to use native plants in her landscaping. Tyndall has been an active participant and board member of the Potomac Village Garden Club and she is passionate about raising awareness and advancing environmental stewardship across the Watts Branch Watershed and beyond. Â

Chuck joins us as a board member with significant experience in public health policy and grassroots advocacy on local and global issues related to health, human rights, and the environment. He is a certified Montgomery County Weed Warrior Supervisor and loves to identify then physically remove non-native invasive plant species from both Rockville and Montgomery County parks. He also helps organize community and student watershed clean-up projects with Rockville Rotary in the Watts Branch Watershed and elsewhere.Â
