Did you know native grasses host many species of butterflies? Switchgrass (Panicum virgatum) and Big Bluestem (Andropogon gerardii) are host plants for the Delaware skipper (Anatrytone logan), which is on the state rare watch list!

Help out this adorable skipper by providing it with more Switchgrass and Big Bluestem: muddy-branch-alliance.square.site/

I ❤️❤️❤️ native grasses!

I didn’t know that! Do they spread readily?

Have you been hesitant to garden with native plants because your local deer will decimate them? Not to worry. We’ve still got 11 species that deer dislike. But don’t hesitate any longer: our native plant sale closes April 19.
