Through generous donations in memory of Larry Speicher and from donations to our general funds, we are able to provide grants for local projects.
We are interested in partnering with churches, synagogues, mosques, schools, home owner associations or other public properties, which could serve as demonstration projects, to implement water friendly rain gardens, conservation landscaping, rain barrels or community gardens. The intent is that the project will be a valuable asset for the property and also serve as an example of what people can do in their own yards or communities.
What we provide:
- We would fund a professional to visit the property and scope out potential projects and prepare a report for evaluation. The report and this consultation will serve as the basis for your organization to evaluate options.
- We provide an additional $250 or $500 grant to help get the project started.
- We would also assist in applying for funding through the City or County and can provide limited funds for the project itself.
If you are interested, please email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and let us know the organization and area where the property is located
