DESCRIPTION:Co-sponsored by the Muddy Branch Alliance and Lakelands Social Committee \nPlease join us for a Family Nature Walk exploring nature and wildlife on our nearby trails. Kids and families of all ages are invited. The first part of the hike will be stroller-accessible\, but then we will take our adventure onto unpaved trails for a closer look at nature while moving at a toddler-friendly pace. \nTrail guides Amy Beam\, a nature educator\, and Julia Rasnake\, a Muddy Branch Alliance Board Member\, will lead the group on the hike. \nMeet at Four Corners Park. Cross streets are Linslade Street\, Gatestone Street\, and Lakelands Drive. Street parking is available on all cross streets and in the lot on Gatestone Square.

DESCRIPTION:The Muddy Branch Alliance\, to better understand the use of the trail\, has been placing a trail monitor at various locations along the greenway. The monitor is not being used to identify individual people; it is just being used to count people and animals that use the trail. This monitoring effort will continue throughout 2019. The Muddy Branch Alliance has received a permit (#189739) from Montgomery Parks and the permission of the City of Gaithersburg to perform this activity.  Thank you for respecting the monitor.
