"Good" Recent Stream Rating by Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC)

Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) performed an analysis of Fish in the Muddy Branch on Sept 27. Location was Mainstem Muddy Branch above River Road, access via River Road. It is exciting to see all the species of fish found in this pass. The analysis of the fish species and population returns a rating for the stream. “Good” and “Fair” ratings are fairly typical in the county. Muddy Branch received a rating of 38 or "Good".
