End of Year Giving Campaign

Sunday, December 2, 2012 - 9:37am

Dear Muddy Branch Alliance Supporter,

You are a member of a growing movement of citizens that recognize the importance and value of protecting their local watersheds. Individually and collectively our actions contribute significantly to the health of our streams, rivers, bays and oceans. Did you know that more than 200 people participated in Muddy Branch Alliance events in the last year? These activities included Workshops, Meetings, Stream Monitoring, Trash and Invasive Weed Pickups, Trail Maintenance, Canoe and Kayak adventures, Birding, and a variety of other Community events.

Alliance meetings and newsletters are always free and membership is not required for participation in any Muddy Branch Alliance activities. The Alliance does have expenses and we very much appreciate those of you who support us with a yearly sponsorship. Your participation helps us provide grants for watershed training, allows us to purchase and distribute rain barrels, install demonstration rain gardens, plant trees and sponsor all of the other Alliance educational and hands-on events.

If you would like to include Muddy Branch Alliance in your year-end giving plans please click here. Your contribution will help us to continue our work and allow us to make an even greater impact. Your donation is tax deductible.

The Muddy Branch Alliance is a 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to stewardship of the Muddy Branch watershed, and committed to maintaining its water quality, natural habitat and ecological well-being. We do this by bringing neighbors together to build awareness, improve its natural habitat, and enhance the community’s enjoyment of the many creeks and streams within the watershed.

Cordially,
Mike Honig
